Mayfield Dairy Farms began when my grandfather, T. B. Mayfield, established Live Oak Farms in 1912. He purchased 45 Jersey cows and began to sell the milk to homes in Athens, Tennessee. Since these humble beginnings, people in East Tennessee and the Southeast have enjoyed top quality Mayfield dairy products.
