Since 1950, Mee Mee Bakery, located in San Francisco's Chinatown, has been making fresh fortune cookies daily from our bakery to individuals, restaurants, and special events. We produce the Shangri-La Brand and besides making great tasting fortune cookies, we also make fresh breads, almond and sesame cookies, and chinese pastries.

Come down and see for yourself how fortune cookies are made! We offer free short tours of our bakery so that you can not only enjoy our fortune cookies, but also appreciate and delight yourself in how they are made. For more information or to set up an appointment for a tour, call (415) 362-3204.
Tour hours: Monday-Saturday, 10 am to 4 p.m. Reservations: Not needed. Cost: Free. Small children must be accompanied by an adult on this 5-10 minute tour to see how fortune cookies are made. This is really fun in the cramped, tiny space. The proprietors do a heavy sales pitch to get you to buy cookies -- which is okay cause they are so cheap.
