We invite you to join the more than 100,000 antique lovers and collectors who have decorated their homes with authentic, museum quality, antique reproduction furniture kits from Bartley. Welcome to a very special and unique company. The Bartley Collection is one of the oldest and largest manufactures of authentic museum quality reproduction furniture kits. The complete line ranges in complexity from a simple box to an intricately carved block and shell secretary. Because we custom mill every part, we are able to reproduce priceless antiques using the same techniques employed by the master craftsmen of the 17th, 18th, and 19th century. Since Bartley's inception, in a suburban Chicago garage, we have always been proud that our kits are made entirely in America. Today, in our workshop on Maryland's historic Eastern Shore, skilled craftsmen and women take the time to precision cut every part of every kit so that assembly is both easy and enjoyable. We use only the highest grades of hardwoods available, such as mahogany, cherry, walnut, and curly maple. The brass hardware included in our kits has been exhaustively researched and cast to our exact specifications. Our craftsmanship and attention to detail warrant the praise we have received from such notable publications as Fine Woodworking which referred to us as "...the epitome of kit furniture." |
